Timothy S. Bird

Tim Bird is the Founding Partner of Kheystone Legal. He founded the firm with a single goal: to make our legal system work for every person and business, regardless of size, station in life, or legal challenge presented.

Tim's practice covers small business formation and compliance, wills and trusts and estate planning, real estate, family and divorce, criminal defense, and general civil litigation. That breadth is intentional — clients in Smith Mountain Lake and surrounding counties rarely have one-track legal needs, and Tim believes effective counsel means being there for the full picture.

He personally handles client matters with the same care he would expect for his own family. Clients work with him directly — not handed off, not lost in a queue — because that is how a community-rooted practice should operate.
